They are certainly not the boutique bakery type, but they do have the one thing that I judge all other cupcakes by. One of the most important factors for me is a very high frosting to cupcake ratio. This is why I prefer cupcakes over cakes in the first place. I cake has a very large uncovered surface area once it is sliced, whereas a cupcake allows for much more frosting per square centimeter. Jewel exploits this to the fullest. Thank you for this great blog as I will now have to explore outside of the Jewel cupcake realm.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
